Melisa Ozer is a PhD track master’s student in Religion, Ethics, and Philosophy Program at Florida State University. She received her MA in Islamic Studies from Respect Graduate School and her BBA in Economics & Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research interests include moral economy, Islam, Islamic law, and the intersection of ethics, governance, and economic justice in historical and contemporary contexts.
